Events & Education

Marion Audubon connects people with birds and wildlife right where we live in scenic Central Florida by offering free guided nature walks, educational programs and occasional field trips to other Florida hotspots. In 2021 we created the Ocala Nature Club, a group dedicated to providing exciting experiences for students from middle school thru college.

Everyone is welcome to join our walks, whether you are brand new to birding, have been doing it for years, or just enjoy taking photos of wildlife. We enjoy sharing our knowledge about the birds and other wildlife we encounter. Marion Audubon is committed to being a diverse group and welcomes people of all ages, races, ethnicities, beliefs, orientations, genders, languages and abilities.

Conservation

It takes individuals like you to be a voice for the birds. We can collectively make a difference when we create and support conservation initiatives to make Marion County a bird-friendly community.
